Vermont Authors
Submitted by QwertyGirl on Thu, 06/18/2009 - 12:01pmHello!
I am here at YWP and we are in need of your help.
We have a grant to bring in authors for workshops. Vermont authors. I was told to make a list. Problem: I don't know very many Vermont authors.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

At the Last Minute

I should really do it,
but not right now.
It’s due tomorrow
and I haven’t even started.
I’ve still got all day.
I tell myself it’s okay.
I’ll get it done,
but not right now…I’m having too much fun.
That night was hectic,
I was so stressed out.
My project was hardly started!
I had to stay up all night.
The next morning I was glad I finished,
and I handed it in to my teacher first block.
I got a D and my parents got mad.
Maybe next time I won’t wait until the last minute.

At first there is nothing but a tiny notion,
but soon the idea blossoms into maturity.
It will soon fade, but before it is gone it will be replaced by another.
Now research and planning commences,
followed shortly by materials acquisition.
