Tea Party

“More tea for the twins?”
“No”
“No, thank you”
“Well, would you like a biscuit?”
“No”
“Sure, please Mr. Rabbit”
“Splendid! Are you sure you don’t want one Alice?”
“Yes, I’m sure!”
“Why not?”
“Because I don’t want anything to happen… I want to go home.”
“Suit yourself then”
“Alright, good!”
*Walks away*

In Ten Years...

In ten years, I will be serving for this country with the United States Army. Not for any of the glory, the respect or any of the recognition. I want to join the army just for the reason of joining. Nothing to me, as of right now, looks better than serving my country and protect all of the rights and freedom that we have. To me, that seems like a fine career to have.

Solution

If there was one power that i could have to solve a problem, it would be to get the United States out of debt. I would want to be able to decrase the amount of of debt this country has, without the risk of inflation. Being able to do this would be an amazing thing, just for a state, little alone the country.

Green

Watching the trees bud
Looking at all the green
Thinking the color is a dud
Now trying to wean
Maybe go to blue
A subtle color,
With a smart clue
Not known as solar
But I always get pulled
Back to the color green.

Beauty

The most beautiful person in my life is someone I’ve only knew for a couple years. No matter what she would be wearing, if her hair is or down, she has the power to make smile like no other. Just the sight of her can turn my whole day around. It doesn’t even matter if she was mad at me or not, it would still make my day great.

I Feel Most Alive When...

I feel most alive when going fast. Not so much speeding on the roads, but the legal stuff. Like flying, a take off can get the heart rushing. Even hitting turbulence is a rush, dropping ten or twenty feet in a second can get anyone a little glad to see the ground. Going fast, over one hundred, is quite thrill. That intense moment when a single mistake could ruin your day, week, month, or year. That is a very intense and makes me feel alive more than anything.

Green is Everywhere

The wind blowing in my hair,

Green grass everywhere!

Trees, leaves, even veggies.

Green is on the ground,

Green is in the air,

If you pay attention,

GREEN IS EVERYWHERE!

Green is here and green is there,

Green, Green, everywhere!

I like green,

You should too!

If you don't do you like blue?

Well, I do too!

But I like green most of all.

Clovers and John Deer Mowers,

All is green even the beans!

Green

Green is awesome!

Green makes the world beautiful!

Green! Green! Green!

Green is colorful!

Green as grass!

Green! Green! Green!

Many things are Green!

Everyone likes green!

Green! Green! Green!

Green for St. Patrick's day!

Green for Chirstmas!

Green! Green! Green!

GREEB FOR VERMONT!

My 2nd Friend Green

Green Green Green I love green.

When I go fishing I read in green!

When I go home, I see my fancy dancy greenvskirt.

My mom's favorite color is green.

So pick up your bags and go green, peoples!

I see green markers.

I see green clockers.

I see green clovers.

Three and four ones too.

I see green caps.

I see green eveywhere.

So roses are red, violets are blue.

Pick up your green cups and have green tea, too.

Green All Around Me

Green, Green, Green

Green grass all around me.

Green lilly pads all around me and green trees.

Green grasshoppers hop around me.

St. Patrick's Day and leprechauns are green.

Apples and green peppers.

Green pickles and green onions and green spinach.

Green, Green

Green, Green

What a facinating color.

Green, Green grass.

Courage, will, and St. Patrick.

Everything is green.

Bushes, trees, and signs.

So much green makes me happy.

Green

My favorite color is green.

I live in Vermont.

The greenest state in the United States.

The mountains are so green.

They are greener than a tree.

There's lots of other colors.

Like blue, purple, and red.

But my favorite color is green!

It's a very pretty color.

It is so awesome.

It's better than cake and ice cream.

But green is still my fravorite color.

Green Poem

Green! Green! Green!

My favorite color is green.

I love the color green.

Green! Green! Green!

Everybody loves the color green.

Do you like green?

I sure hope so because everyone likes green.

I love green because it's the color of St. Patrick.

It's also the color of Vermont.

Beauty

There's this girl, I met her last year.  She has long hair, but not very long.  She is also really nice to everybody I know, but sometimes she acts like I don't exist.  I really wish she would notice me, because on the inside I really want to be her friend.  But she just ignores me.  Which makes me think why I go through all of this trobule, becuase it never works.

The Great Ms. Martel

Ms. Martel is not just a school teacher, she is beautiful.  She wears those glasses with beautiful designs that makes her eyes pop out.  Everyday she wears beautiful clothes like cute skirts.  She should work in a clothes store because sh is so fashionable.  Everyday she wears high heals to school.  She wears them a lot in school.

My Beautiful Friend

Beauty is not waht's on the outside at all, it's what's on the inside that I care about most.  Which is why my friend, Montana, comes to mind.  She has the kindest smile that I wish everyone had.  Her smile lifts me up when I'm feeling down.  If something terrible happened to me, I could trust that smile.  She laughs at my endless jokes even though I probably repeated some.  It makes me feel good that she laughs because it makes me laugh as well.  That's the best feeling in the world, laughing.  Even if she moves away we will totally stay in contact with letters, video chat, and our both personal favorite, phones someday!  We will do it whether she's here, in the U.S.A. or in China, we will still do it.  She may have golden hair, pretty eyes, and a perfect smile, but that does not matter.  It's her beauty on the inside that counts.

Beauty

The most beautiful person in the world to me is Fat Bunny, my imaginary pet.  He's beautiful to me because he's fat and adorable.  He jumps around like a little bazooka that can't shoot.  He is special because I dream about him every night.  I dream that he's always staring off into space like he doesn't belong.  He falls asleep like an ancient brown bear.  He's in my dreams.  He's imaginary, but I wish he could be real.

The Dancing Princess

Once upon a time, there was a castle in the deep, deep woods.  There lived a Princess, the King and Queen.  The Princess' name was Molly.  Molly loved to dance, but there was no one to dance with.

Molly went to the King and asked, "Can you get me someone to dance with?"

I'm sorry pumpkin.  You know there is no prince in sight," said the King.

I don't want a Prince, I want a person who is not rich," said Molly.

That night Molly cried and cired.  She said in her head, "I'm runing away to find my dancer, no one will stop me."  So she ran away.  She looked everywhere for a dancer.

Until one day she met a tall handsome man.  He danced like no tomorrow.  They danced together.  Then one day the dancer asked Molly to marry him.  The Princess said yes.  They lived happily ever after.

Medusa

One day I was walking down the street to my friend's house, when a strange looking man came up to me and handed me a plane ticket.  He said, "Sunny resort in Arizona!"

I wondered where in Arizona so I aksed, "Where in Arizona?"

He replied cheerfully, "In Pheonix my kind lady!"

So I cashed in my ticket and rode the plane for eight hours.  Finally, I arrived in Pheonix.  When I was standing outside my hotel, I was bitten by a strange looking diamonback rattlesnake.  Suddenly, I became very drowsy.  So I went into the hotel and went to the desk and immediately the desk clerk turned to stone.  I thought, am I that ugly?  So, I shrugged and rang the bell for the bellboy, and he also turned to stone.  So I trudged up the stairs and took out my room key, opened the door, and went to bed.  When I woke up I looked in the mirror.  I saw my normal reflection.  But when I looked back, I saw snakes coming out of my head and fangs in my mouth,.  My eyes glowed.  I was covered in scales!  So I found a cave and hid out there for the past couple thousand years.  So that, my firends, is how I became Medusa.

Bob the Kid

Once there was a kid named Bob and he was a little off.  One day Bob went out jogging and he heard a weird sound.  So he looked up into the sky and continued jogging.  When he saw a circled object flying and said, "That's a flying saucer I think,"  So it parked in front of him and the aliens said, "There's our son and brought him back to Planet Z.

Little Boy

Once there was a boy who was so spoiled he could get anything he wanted.  What he wanted most of all was a dog.  For some reason he couldn't get a dog so that night he cried all night.  Then one day a dog walked across the lawn.  Then he went to pick it up and . . . he took it inside and fed it.  So he named it Fred.  Then a person came along and claimed it.  So the next day he saw a dog outside in a box.  So he went and got it.  Then just when he was going to it, it got taken by an animal control person.  So he got on his bike and followed the truck to the animal control place and bought the dog.  Then he named it Fred, because that is what he always wanted to name a dog.

Basketball

I feel so alive when I play basketball. I love the way the basketball feels when it touches my finger pads because I think the bumps on the ball feel good.  That is why I take so long on foul shots, I'm feeling the bumps on the ball.  I love the feeling when you make a basket for your team because you just made two points for your team.  It feels really good when you win against a team that is really tall like one foot taller than you, because you love the celebration.  We earned a pizza party by winning 22-23!

When you get a tie with a team your age and your height, or when you can reach over their heads, its fair to you just not to them.  You just always want to rub it in their faces because it feels tooooo good when you win to contain your excitement.  That is why I feel alive when I play basketball!

I KNow You Vanessa Greg

When I first met you, Vanessa Greg, I noticed the wavy blonde hair pulled up in a pony tail that bounced side to side while you followed me round at Joni's School of Dance. At the age of six your smile struck me as a "I want to know you" smile that lit up my face.  Your blue eyes stared as you watched the movements of dance, as you tried your best.

A few months later, as I walk my first steps into Ms. Phalen's Kindergarten class at the age of six, I see you at the lego table with a smile of joy.  "I know you, I say so sure."  As you turn around to greet me you take my hand, and you ask if I want to be your firend.  As I agree, we make a friendship that turned into more than a friendship.

I Know You

When I was walking outside, I saw a person that I knew but did not know him.  I knew that I have seen him so I hollered and said, "Hey I know you!"  He turned around . ,. . and then walked away.  My mom said, "Don't talk to strangers"  I said, "What! I know thim."  My mom said, "You probably saw a different kid."  Then I agreed with her.  So the next morning I went outside and I saw that kid again, so I turned back around.  That kid said, "Hey I know you."  "Really!"  "Really, then he said, What is my name?"  I said, "Pickel Jar" And he said, "Wow you have a good memory."  Then we were friends again.

Feeling more Alive

I feel most alive when I am out with my boyfriend going out to eat or have fun in general. One of my favorite things to do is to watch Garrett play wheel chair basketball. Just seeing the guys play makes me think hey what I can do to enforce this in a school for kids that are in wheel chairs. But the day I feel more alive when I am out in nature walking around and playing a game.

Finish The Thought

I swear, I was going to get there on time when all of a sudden my car lost gas. I was on the belt line luckily, so I could hitchhike… that is, if anyone wanted to pick me up. Thankfully, a big eighteen wheeler came to pick me up. When I got into the cab, there seem to be no one inside, and then the truck began to move! I have never been too scared in my life. The truck brought me into this battle beaten town, where I saw a bunch of giant robots fighting! The truck turned to be Optimus Prime! He told me that I was the only hope to save the world… so I just ran for the hills. I kept running until I got here, that is why I am out of breath. The only bad thing is that I may have brought the transformers with me… my bad.

Abandoned House

This house is so empty, not a soul to be found. Once so lively, with bright green wallpaper. Now it’s just peeled, showing the sad wall. The family portrait crooked as it is, it shows a beautiful family, the father seems to be standing tall to protect his family and the kids smiling away in a joyful manner. The wife seems to be happier than the rest of the family, I wonder why? Entering the kitchen, the table seems to be still laid out for dinner. The food is gone though, most likely of the rodents residing in the walls. My parents tell stories about this house, how it used to be so beautiful and the best one the street in fact! Now it’s considered for demolition… how sad.

The Great Basketball Feeling!!!

As I walk into the gym, excitement fills my body. I see others playing basketball on the different courts. The smell of concessions floats through the room with the smell of pizza and hot dogs. As I hear the bounce of the ball and squeak of shoes, I walk into the locker room. I see the eyes of my teammates. As the game approaches, I get more and more excited as my teammates and I listen to our coach.

We run into the gym and I hear the clapping fans. Being a starter, the first group out on the court, is happiness for me. The best part of playing in the game is getting the ball for the first time and taking a shot. When you go in as a sub, it's a good feeling because you've had time to watch your teammates, so you won't make those same mistakes. You can also help them out if they need help fixing those mistakes.

After the game, we shake hands with our opponents. We then talk as a team about our mistakes and what we could've done better.  We also talk about the good things we did. We then get something to eat before we go back to the court to finish the tournament.  By the end of the day, we are all ready to go home and are proud of what we have done. Even though we may have lost, we still have our heads high and are ready for the next days to come.

Four Wheeling

My perfect day is when I am in the woods in Vermont and I am on my ATV going 60 mph. Hello, my name is Kevin Virge and I am 13. I have been four wheeling since I was 8. My ATV is a red Polaris. It is always in the garage unless I am using it. It goes up to 85 mph. The fastest I've ever had it was 75 mph. Mud hits me in the face when I go that fast.

One time, my buddy Matt and I were racing. All we could smell is the regular gasoline. When Matt and I race, we go out on trails all day and bring lots of food. It is hot and the wind is blowing through our hair. Four wheeling is the most fun thing in the world!

We were on the last lap. BANG!!!!!!!!!! Matt crashed. "OMG!!! Are you OK?"

"I think I'm dead"

"You're not dead if you can talk."

We rushed to the hospital.  There they asked, "What were you thinking? You don't even have an adult with you. You go get your parents. Ask one of the ambulance drivers if they will bring you to get Matt's parents."

Matt was all right and he didn't get that hurt, just a broken foot.  My parents took away my ATV after that happened because I could have gotten hurt.

Racing Heat

We drive up to the place our destination GPS is set for. I arrive at the track with friends and family, all here to support me in what's to come. While waiting for announcements, we laugh at the younger children, not as if to be mean or humiliate them, but just because of their silliness and way of doing things. Some of the other kids are frolicking around. The others, in beating down sun, are whining over a glass of water to drink. Then the announcements start and chaos begins.

Everyone runs to the track to wait for the signal.  I can hear the sounds of the last guzzles of water being drunk all around the gravel track. The white lines separate the individuals, either for a short or long journey on the track. Then my name gets called and here I go, nervous as can be. Not knowing how fast others will be, I am scared.

The T-shirts from other teams line up beside me. The last smells you smell before you hear the click and boom of the race gun are the cut grass surrounding us everywhere and the grilling food at the end, near the finish line, waiting for my hope-to-be victory. The clear, blue sky looking like a vast amount of ocean spreading wide, allows the intense sun to shine down and finally, the feeling of perspiration trickles down your forehead. Beat, beat, beating in your chest, your heart racing quickly like a motorcycle speeding by and then we're off.  And by the time we start, we are done and out of breath and getting a drink as cold as a dripping icicle. Congrats are being said like I just won the Grammies.   The news is reported that I indeed have won what was a difficult task, the running of the 100 meter dash. The smile on my face is as bright as the sun while I am walking away from the rush and joy of winning a speedy race.
