This site is for registered students from Vermont or New Hampshire to share writing, ideas and opinions. To register click here. (To register for a new account, you must be 13 years old and from Vermont or New Hampshire or, if you are younger, have parental permission. click here for the form. Register for an account online, and send us your permission slip, and we'll approve you ASAP.)

This site is a safe place for you to practice your writing and practice expressing yourself with words, audio and visual images. Once you log in, here's what you can do:

• Keep a "Blog" or writer's notebook. When you login, click on "WRITE" at the top left and post a new blog entry. Be sure to title it, give it a genre, and denote whether you want it to be considered for newspaper selection.

• You can supplement your writing by inserting photos or uploading an .mp3 audio file as a "podcast" or attaching other files, through the options provided after clicking "WRITE."

“MY LIFE” radio commentaries. YWP is partnering with Vermont Public Radio for an ongoing series for radio broadcast. We are looking for conversational stories or commentary on events or moments in your lives. PERMISSIONS. This site is for registered students from Vermont or New Hampshire to share writing, ideas and opinions. Students under the age of 13 need to have parental consent to register for this site. As a rule that means any students in seventh grade and below. In addition, teachers often need parental permission in order to submit student entries for the YWP Newspaper Series.

YWP has a downloadable permissions form designed for younger students, parents and teachers. This document is for teachers seeking permission from parents to submit their students' work and for parents to grant permission for their children to register on the YWP Web site.
