I'm From...

I’m From…

By Quinn Darrow
Leland and Gray Union High School, Grade 9

I’m from Newfane walking to my bus stop
From the wood fire lying with my cats
From the warm cozy bed and book calling me to pick it up
From my sister watching her silly T.V. shows
From my cat Bridget jumping on the table asking for her Dinner
From my friend Fabian walking over to the house

The Tree In the Graveyard

The Tree in the Graveyard
By Sarah Clark

I balance on the fence and hoist myself onto a limb.
Leaves tickle my face as I shield my eyes to look up.
Looking up, I can see bright orange leaves shimmering against the sun.
The wind glides softly through the branches.
Several leaves flutter lazily to the ground.
