The Elevator

The Elevator

It all started a hour ago when a loud noise filled the elevator and it screeched to a stop. the guy next to me has been howling for like forever his mustache twitching, his bald head shiny in the  in the bright, hot light.  Suddenly he let out a long suspicious sigh slouching back to the wall. Words

Words

Words are priceless. Creative and strong. Think about words. Why? Why? Why? Why do we speak these non-melodic songs? Why do we read these words, it’s like they came out of the sky. Who invented the unknown species of words? Think about it longer, until your mind goes blank. Millions of questions must form in your head, don’t know where they’re going, not being led. This is my question that will last a long time, until someone thinks, one word at a time. Words. Words. Words.

Random

By Parrish Cormier

I walked down stairs and saw Barney the dinosaur with my breakfast. So I chased him off then  I saw my dog doing a handstand . I saw my sister mocking a mockingbird . My brother is playing barbie with no clothes.  I found my mom feeding a python.  I saw my dad saying and writing supercalifragilistic paladios 1,000 times. Thats when I thought about I have an extraordinary family.  But as long as they're mine they'll always be cool.

Orange

Orange By Olivia Parsons

Have you ever thought about the color orange...well I have.  Orange is ORANGE!  Meaning it is so full of expression and...ORANGE!  Sometimes I wonder who discovered the color orange [ they must have been extremely smart right?].  Or maybe they just had IMAGINATION.  Imagination is so much more powerful than being smart.  Think Orange.

Vacation

Vacation

By Eva Colquhoun

My dream vacation is going to Disney World with my cousin and my family. Getting mani-pedis at the grand Floridain. And getting into the silky covers and snuggling with my cousin. The sheets feel like they're woven from warm springtime sunbeams. Waking up to the birds singing ready for a day of fun.

Dear Diary

DEAR DIARY,

Today was LIKE the worst day in my life!  I lost my 24s iphone and my diamond earrings fell down our glass toilet. I cried and got mascara all over my NEW dress.  My mom did not let me watch a movie that was TOTALLY appropriate for me and it was only four hours long!  Our computers are built into our desks so we can always be connected but the teacher is super strict about using them, what is that about?  Anyway, nothing that I WANTED happened!  Which is so LIKE a big deal because I am the first child and everyone should respect ME... Right?  Is any of this right?  Of course, stop talking nonsense.

Paradise

Paradise is daydreaming of the soul.

Paradise is laughing, out of breath.

Paradise is all happy moments combined.

Paradise is a golden retriever's smile.

Paradise is the imperfections of perfection.

Paradise is life lived with smiles.

Love That Tashi

Her hips wiggle as
She comes to me,
Wagging her tail,
I love my dog.

Her warm brown eyes
Fill me with devotion,
And remind me just why
I love my dog.

Her head in my lap,
She chews a toy.
Calm and refined as a lady with her tea.
I love my dog.

She kisses my jeans,
Telling me just how much she cares
She gives me endless adoration,
I love my dog.

She loves me here and now,
So simple and so pure.
She would go to the end of time for me.
I love my dog.
