Half - Redone Chp. 1 - 3

*So I realized that my story line was moving to fast and I hadn't explained enough things thouroughly. Basically I redid most of it. Also, if anyone as suggestions on a better title I would appreciate a lot. The one I have now just isn't fitting anymore. So yeah, enjoy! More will be posted soon.

Half.

That’s all I’ll ever be.

Half.

Half Eurvian.

Half Itigili.

Half.

No matter how hard I try, I will never be one of either. I am neither Itigili nor Eurvian. I am both. Read more »

Bonjour Madame,
It has come to my attention that in your husband Robert’s book, The King’s Wardrobe, he has made some very key mistakes. Unfortunately, Robert has gone to visit his family in the city of Fluck, Poland. Seeing that you are his wife, I know that you will pass this information on to him when he arrives back in our beautiful city of Boston. Would you please give him the enclosed envelope, which has information regarding his book that will tell him of his mistakes. Jean, I trust that you will not look into that envelope. Only deliver its contents. Read more »

Chapter 1

" I don't care what you think Star, all i care about is clearing your name and getting out of this mess. Oh, and you're on dinner duty. " Panther stalked out onto the porch, the rickety screen door slamming behind him. Part of the torn screen flapped pathetically as it shut. I sighed, shakily, and opened a random draw, looking for tape. Flies was something that i did not need in my life right now. I swore as my hands encountered nothing but stiffly folded napkins, but the word sounded odd coming out of my mouth, weak and meaningless. It was something Panther would say, not me. Read more »

Book Family

Book Family

My family is a book:
My dad is the cover,
holding us together.
My mom is the pages,
dominant and plentiful.
And I am the words
telling the story,
taking you away.

Just Ask

Just Ask

If books could speak to me,
They'd ask,
"What have you been reading?"
If animals could speak to me,
They'd ask,
"What have you been eating?"
If words could speak to me,
They'd ask,
"What have you been writing?"
If I could respond,
I'd ask,
"Where have I been?"

DCF Books I've read!

In middle school there is a list of books called Dorothy Canfield Fisher (DCF). the list is made out of 30 books and they are for grades 4-8. I have read 22 of those 30 books and my library teacher said that in her 8 years at my school, I made the record of how many DCF books were read in a year. Incase you want to try out some of the books on the list I will give you a website with all of the books and blogs about them on it www.dcfaward.org.

Assembly

Assembly

I feel like mud;
slapped and thrown by little kids,
tracked and trucked from tire skids,
left by yeasterdays flash flood,
completely like mud.

I feel like fresh dough;
being shaped by the cutter,
in the oven while they mutter,
I cook so slow, until I'm ready to go,
completely like fresh dough.

I feel like dull clay;
on a creeky, old pottery wheel,
fashoined for tonight's dinner meal,
in the time of potters play,
completely like dull clay.

I feel like an auxilary, antagonistic role;
trimmed against all who look,
yet binding the total book, Read more »

A Lost Story

I am going to tell the story of me losing my book! I was reading my book when it was bedtime. i put my book on the counter. when I woke up, it wasn't there. I couldn't find it. So the first thing I thought was that my brother took it. I went to ask him. he said he didn't take it. So I was wondering, who took my book? Then I was thinking it was a monster! So I went to turn around and I found a monster chomping! I thought he ate it. He did! So I said, "Oh, no!"

The Perfectionist: Prologue

This is the prologue (or so I call it) to the story I'm curently writing. I'll try to post some more parts of it too. So far, I've named it the Perfectionist. I'll most likely change it later.

The average sappy love story has the same plot. Boy meets girl, they fall in love, they break up momentarily, and then they live happily ever after. There are only a few rare exceptions, the stories which are truly unique. Read more »

Many Words

This object has many words. It can be a fictional story or factual. Plot, setting, problem, and solution are all in with it. What am I?

facebook

I think facebook is a good idea but there are some problems with it. The ability for bad people to find out personal information is opening up making it hard to be safe. What people have to realize is if they put information on there anyone can see it. On the other side it is a great way to keep in touch with friends and family. so in conclusion i think facebook is a good thing if it is used right.

facebook

i think facebook is amazing way for friends to communicate. its a great way for you to find old friends that you had in high school that you havent talked to for a long time. i use facebook i think its great because i get to put in pictures and look at pictures my friends have put on and being able to the comments that people make on the pictures. if you want to find a girlfriend, or boyfriend you can us it for that to because u can read a persons profile and see what you have in common.

Work in Progress

Chapter 1

It was my first day of school in Alton, New Hampshire. First days are always the same no matter what town you live in. I walked into the office, picked up my schedule, and spent the entire day answering the questions of every nosey, yet well meaning, student in the tenth grade. But still I smiled, and I answered their questions. I could see how they’d look at me and think; “Would I want to be friends with her?” And at the end of the day the majority of them back away slowly, cordially wishing me a good day, having learned my story, and no longer having any interest in the new girl. Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover (Random Thought)

Bonjour. It is I, the Author. I am here today to ask a random, but meaningful question: If we aren’t supposed to judge a book by its cover, then why do all of the covers have a different design on them? Read more »
