its possible

A slippery slope is hard to clime
But it can be done in time
All things can be achieved
Through perseverance
You can perceive
A way to believe
That any challenge big or small
Can be concurred through it all
A glimmering light at its end
Will burn its brightest though it may spend
What little time it may have left
It will give its light as a gift
So things that can be achieved
Can only be perceived
Through work you may believe
All is possible and can be conceived

when its your time

In your last minutes of life
When death comes upon
What do you see?
What do you smell?
What do you hear, taste, and touch
Is it a blinding light?
A flaming inferno
Angelic faces of one gone bye
In my opinion what you will see
Is love in its entirety
Friends and family loves embrace
Caring on each and every face
So what happens when death is upon?
Who knows till it has dawned?

I Was a Good Man

When I was a man
When I was alive
I lived for the world
I lived for life

Worked when I could
Behaved like I should
Never did get out of line

Refrain:
I was a good man
Lived like I should
Lived like a free bird
I was a good man

Till I joined the army
To serve my country
I was on the front line
When they took us from behind

Refrain

Then one day
They brought me home
And laid me down
On that holy piece of ground

Why it was me
I never will know
But I was proud to die
For this country I did owe

Refrain

Refrain

this world

In this world I have seen
Some fish will fly
While some birds do swim
The clouds far gone in the sky
Blue as far as can see the eye
Forest full, green, and lush
Gardens full, thriving, alive
All here do survive
People happy, calm, surreal
Warm clothing, food for every meal
This world I’ve seen is familiar to me
As if seen it a distant dream
But its not a dream its all to real
At home, at play this world appears
All it takes is a few to make it
And what you’ll see is what you’ll get

Don't Wait To Long

An old man on his front porch
Waiting silently
Waiting there
For something
For someone
For anything
What could it be?
Could it be his wife gone to Sunday Mass?
Could it be a father waiting for a son home from war?
Could it be the sunset and sunrise?
What could it be?
Could it be something simple?
Or profusely complex
What was waiting he for no one can tell
The way he waits the way he acts
I think he waiting for a dirt nap
He acts as if he’s been around for way to long
So I say my final goodbye and go along
Who nose what will become of the man who
But if anyone waits to long
Sooner or later death will come
