The image of Lonelyness
Submitted by Pug on Fri, 01/07/2011 - 12:44pmI walk in the lonely city.
I walk pass the empty cars,
and abandoned buildings.
The sidewalk is cracked,
the buildings are gray.
As is my heart.
I enter the dead woods.
The trees are grayish white,
their leaves have fallen off,
the bark is dead and chipping away.
I stop as a tear falls off my cheek and onto the ground.
And another, and another.
And I wait until the eventual pond,
which is to form.
I'm gone, I'm gone
Submitted by Pug on Thu, 01/06/2011 - 1:35pmI walk near,
you run away.
As if you want me to be gone.
I follow,
you hide.
I search,
you run away.
Why do you want me gone?
Why do you keep making up excuses?
Well Rouge,
I'm gone...
I'm gone

Little girl
Submitted by Jayla_b on Sun, 09/28/2008 - 5:55pmThe night was dark and cold the little girl sat shivering on a door step. Why did this happen? How could this happen? Such a poor innocent girl who should be laughing and playing is sitting by herself all glum and sad. Her dress is warn, old, and kind of gray. Her feet are bare and bleeding, it looks like she had been walking for miles. Her hair was mangled and wet the brown locks covering her face like a mask. Her deep brown eyes just wishing someone would come and hold her tight. But still she sits there all alone with no one to love her and no one to care for her. All the trees and flowers seem to wither and die in their sadness for the poor lonely girl sitting on the doorstep.
