Whenever I can
When I feel like I need
To be by myself
I put in my earphones
And zone out.

On shuffle
I'm in my own world
Away from everyone
And everything.

Small, thin, fits in my pocket
Red, smooth, shines like
New leather shoes.

A few scratches
Makes it mine
Mine forever
Until it breaks...
