Twelve

To be twelve
is to be so many things
that opposite.
To be fun
and boring.
To be sane,
yet insane.
To be odd,
but even.
To be seen,
yet invisible,
heard, but not heard,
evil, yet angel-like,
reality in a fantasy.
At twelve,
right and wrong
are exactly the same.
