Voting

Voting, in my opinion, should be taken very seriously. Election Day is one of those days where everyone, rich and poor, small and big, short and tall, gets to voice his or her opinion.

When people vote, they vote for someone who is going to help them and their families live a better life. No one is going to vote for a candidate who will raise taxes and take more money from them in general, or someone who is not going to help them afford better health care. People want someone who is going to change things from negative to positive, someone like Senator Barack Obama.

Voting has a nice image but a different reality

It is election day and all the flags are flying. People are walking toward the Town Hall with intent, purposeful expressions on their faces, determined to help elect the person they believe will best serve and protect their country.
