The Pie Fight

Nathan Comai Grade 6 Charlotte Central

Splat! Goes the pie in the boy’s face
And the pie fight starts.
Pies flying through the air
And you know what?
I didn’t even care
I dodge and I jump
But it isn’t enough
And it is not long before…
SPLAT and I fall with a thump
But I get up fast and throw a pie
With all my strength and my keen eye
I hit my target right in the face
I see a pie coming and dodge it with grace.
Oh No!! Ms. Corley comes through the door.
"Look at all the pies on the floor!
I bet we won’t be doing this anymore.

Vermont’s Beauty

Have you ever been to Vermont? If you have, you probably know it is a very beautiful place with beautiful weather and an amazing blue lake. If you haven’t come here before, you probably should. Vermont is a very fun place with lots of things to do in the summer, winter, and the fall.
