The day I dye my Hair

I am getting ready, to do something I never thought I would have the courage for. I get to the hairdresser. I am picking my color. I am so nervous, I shakily point towards the purple hair color and get ready to dye my hair. The lady asks me a few clarifying questions and made sure I wanted to do this. Rarely do I step out of my comfort zone to something new and exciting. The lady deliberately places way too much on my hair. How did she not see on her hands that it was orange and not purple?Maybe she was anxiously waiting to dye my hair. Not only did she put way too much in but it was not the color I chose. Somebody must have accidentally changed the bottle from the orange to the purple. What a conundrum. I now have orange hair. I mean I guess I always could shave my hair, or re-dye it to a new color. I do not know what I will do. Wigs are always a good option.

Just Another Alien

I am just an alien,

Unheard

Unseen

Hiding from what could happen,

One shot,

A black man has died,

From something unfair,

Unjust,

What can we change,

What can we do,

Nothing.

When we stand up for what is right we get in trouble,

Harmed,

Life isnt the same for black and white,

they might just be colors,

But that's not how people look ,

At us,

They look at us like we are aliens,

Unworthy, useless aliens that walk around,

But we are people,

Just like them,

We deserve rights to be free,

Wear our hoods

Wear sweatpants

Dress how we want

Look how we want,

Without being judged,

But we all know that will never happen

I am just another alien that people see

The sky uncontrolled

Every day,

I see something,

Something cold,

Something brutal,

But will it ever go away,

Will it ever be nice

Or will it just scare me

Will it give me good thoughts or nightmares

The cold icy wind against me pushing me over

Making me think

Where am I what is this

But I wake up

It's all a dream

it's just snowing

That something comes back

Stronger than  ever

As a big gust of wind

Controlling the night sky

Winter adventure

As I got to the top of the mountain, I could see all of the beauty. When I got  there it was my favorite sight, I saw a wooden, silent, snowboard going down along with a person on it. Then, once I got further I could see the pretty blue sky,  with clouds that would’ve tasted like cotton candy if I were to eat it. The trees were swaying in the wind. Making all of the snow fall off. The snow was glistening as it fell to the ground, making it very peaceful, there was no sound it was silent and enjoyable. Each step I took made footprints in the snow which made a crunchy noise. Towards the downhill part of the mountain the sun began to set making it a really admirable night. To make it even better when I finished my ride down a deer popped out of the forest. Scaring me back to sleep. It was all a dream.
