LOVE

Love
The word is so overrated
And doesnt convey what it means
So here is what it means

It is seeing her smile and suddenly butterflies have invaded your stomach
It's hearing his voice and your heart decides to run a marathon
It is when they leave and you cant stop worrying until they text saying they got home safe
When you see them and your face heats up
and your friends tease you
and your parents ask about them
and your siblings torment you sbout the person
but when you hang out with them
the world calms down
your heart slows
your stomach settles
and time stops

I love this and the idea of the whole prompt. You explained the idea of love and put it into the most beautiful words. Much prettier words than I could come up with. You did a marvelous job of translating feelings into words and did it flawlessly. You really captured what I ( and many other people I am sure) think love would feel/ be like. The only critique I have is putting in a few apostrophe's throughout, like in the third line, but great job nonetheless and I am looking forward to reading more of your work.
