Pain vs. Hope

*Read from beginning to end, then end to beginning*

Pain will always win out.
How stupid it is to believe
That love is always around.
For it is always guaranteed,
Hate and anger are more powerful,
And I will never be convinced,
Love can be stronger.
Despite the darkness that seeps into the stars,
Everyone stows a secret hope, and a secret wish.
But I know the truth,
And it is difficult to cope.
The deepest fears lurk in the coldest shadows,
Some people may think,
I can escape,
But I can't.
Giving in is the only choice,
As the waves of life throw me down,
I refuse to believe,
There is a hope out there for me.

*Now read from the end to the beginning*

    Holy cow that is amazing!!
one suggestion maybe turn 'about' in the third line to above?
anyway I've never seen anything so powerful in its own unique way. How did you even come up with this so it went both ways. that is true talent!

    Thank you!
And I really like your suggestion. Which do you think would sound better, 'around' or 'above' in the third line?
I honestly can't tell you how I created this to be read both ways, because I don't know how I did it. It just...happened.
    I really appreciate the feedback

Oh thats tricky, I think they both convey the same message that love is there/never there. I personally like 'above' better cause i think it paints a better picture of where love is in comparison to hate. like you can physically see compassion squashing anger. For 'around' i think more of a fog surrounding hate and if you look you can see love peaking out but you have to look for it. so thats my two cents, and i think either word would work great for this amazing piece :)
