MargaretE.

The Wind at my Window

The wind screams outside
A sound full of mourning
I watch intently from bed
The trees toss with warning

I snuggle up close
In my cozy blue nook
The song of the wind
Becoming part of my book

The rain knocks on my window
Getting more and more frantic
The spirit of the storm
Getting more and more manic

The wolf blows his hardest
The North Wind screams and screams
But I hear none of it
As I drift into dreams

    This is really beautiful!

    "Meet me
    where the end begins,
    in echoes,
    where your world is me,
    and my world is yours."
