Ache For A Heart

Most decide to trust those they deem trustworthy
Some decide to trust any they find
Few decide to trust none.
I was one of the few.

But then I met a girl
Who randomly sat with me one afternoon
I began to fall in love
With the the girl that would give me an ache for a heart.

We became close
And dumped our secrets into one another
She was a cutter
And I feared becoming a monster.

It was only after she left
that I finally realized
I dont fear becoming a monster.
I fear the loneliness that comes with it.

I decided to trust her
And I wish I could say she broke that trust
But she never said anything to anyone
She only gave me an ache for a heart.

In the end,
I'll fall in love again
And I can only hope
That they dont leave me

With another Ache For a Heart.

I'm sorry... I don't know what to say but that

    "Meet me
    where the end begins,
    in echoes,
    where your world is me,
    and my world is yours."

I really loved the repeated phrase "ache for a heart" because although seemingly simple, it's not a cliche and really makes you think about it. And I'm not sure when you said" "fall in love" if you meant you liked-liked this person or were speaking platonically, but I took it as in falling in love with a friend, which I think especially in our age group is taken the wrong way. Thank you for this :)
