A Miracle

Just the idea,
That my mind
Could be poured onto the paper,
In my own awkward handwriting.

Just the thought that,
My feelings could be extracted from the mine that is emotion and,
Placed just so on the screen.

To get the thoughts that nag my brain as I try to sleep
Out in order.
Right before my thirsty, eager eyes,

Allows me to breathe,
Allows my mind to be put at rest,

To know that I have the power to make others know what I feel.
To feel with me

Is a miracle.

I agree! It is a miracle! This piece is very relatable to me. I've had similar thoughts.
