Fall isn't just about the leaves changing colors, it signifies a significant shift in life. Change can be described as substituting one thing for another, especially something newer or better of the same kind. However, I don't feel that this fall is bringing any positive changes. As the last traces of summer fade away, I also notice the people I care about slipping away, taking with them all the fond memories and warm feelings associated with the season, only to be replaced by the cold, bitter air and pretty leaves.
