poem challenge: Online
blue_potato

Online

Today I spent my day looking at my computer.
Tomorrow I will do the same.
It is hard to see the end,
to see
a day when
my eyes don't ache
and I see the sun.
Some days I don't even go outside,
some days I don't even remember.
Day after day bleeding into night after night,
physically exhausted from sitting all day.
Even when I close my eyes to sleep I can see the red light
glowing from my computer,
waiting for tomorrow.

ugh I totally felt that. Online school is so draining and takes so much unnecessary energy. I've resorted to running around my backyard in between classes XD

I write because the music of language spoke to me in books and I wanted to make a beautiful noise to answer back ~ Lee Williams.

Oh man I can't really relate to this since I go into 2 days a week but I know how you feel about the rest of it.
