This summer I was fooling around on my bike. I popped a wheelie and my tire went sideways. I went up over the handlebars!! I caught myself as I landed and tore up my arm. My cut was so deep that blood was running down my arm. My father was watching me the whole time. He asked me if I was okay. Then I looked down at my arm. Blood was running down it and I turned as pale as a ghost!!
My dad cleaned it out and covered it up until we went to the hospital. My Mom and Killian sat in the truck and my dad brought me to Rutland Regional Medical Care. I went into the hospital and got stitches in my arm near my elbow. Four external stitches and two internal ones. It was around 6:00pm when we got to the hospital and it was 10:00pm when we got out. It felt like I was there for a really long time. Dad was by my side the whole time. Afterwards, my elbow hurt for a little bit. The worst part was that I could not swim because I had stitches. Then I got them out. I could finally swim again after 10 days. This is a scar I won’t ever forget!
