When The Sky Cries

The Earth sluggishly arises from sleep, and the sky is crying this morning. She is giving herself to the nature below that is groaning in need. She pours her energy over the fields and forests, emptying herself for their provision. The color drains from her face as she attempts to  color everything below her.

The withering, brown grass evolves into a deep green.

Flowers burst open and brighten in their beauty.

Trees are nourished and renewed.

As nature rejoices, no credit is given to the sky. She is now a patternless sheet of gray, lonesemly spectating the growth below.

What a coincidence-- it's raining in my area this minute! I'll make sure to give some appreciation to the sky.
