Words

The way words work is a mystery.
They will stick to your throat, to each other, to anything.
But they will
Flow out,
Jump out,
Like they have a mind of
Their own.
They come out armed with
swords and shields.
They crawl out with hands up,
Begging for forgiveness.
The way words work is a mystery,
A question
That can’t be answered.

I really liked the way you personified words! I can picture all these words just jumping around, forming unanswerable phrases. I loved reading this poem :)

I love the way you wrote this, the wording is perfect for what you were trying to make the reader feel.
    Great job!
