poem
MargaretE.

You Flew Me to the Moon, Now What?

Well, you flew me to the moon
And then we played among the stars
You showed me what spring is like on
Jupiter and Mars

But now I know
Can’t you see?

But now I know
Just let me be

Bring me back to Earth and I will
Mourn forevermore

The vast expanse is calling me
So much beauty
To explore

For now I know
Please don’t fear

For now I know
I love it here

Fill my head with dreams
Let me touch the brightest star

It might feel like miles away
But I’ll never
Be too far

Wow the rhymes and rhythms of this poem just seemed to dance when I read it...you've put the words together in such a catchy way and I love it.
