Loving you

Loving you was like being stars in the sky. We burned so bright, so intensely I thought we were going to burn. We light up the sky like the fourth of July, our love keeping us warm. But what we both forgot was the fact that stars explode. That we do in fact end. That even though it seems like we will last for all of eternity our love is measured with the passing of time. Just like everyone else.
