poem challenge: Rainbow
EvieC

At The End Of The Rainbow

In the car, I sit..
Looking out the window...
Bored.
Then it started to rain,
I looked at the small raindrops on the window,
They looked so beautiful and perfect...
I started racing them to see which raindrop would get to the bottom of the window first.
Sadly, then rain started to clear up...
Yet again, I was bored.
The sun came out gleaming brightly on the fress dew on the grass.
Then, a rainbow came!
It looked extraordinary,
The way each color blended perfectly into each other,
Over the mountian is where it looked like it ended...
"A pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."
Is what they say...
I wonder if there's anything else besides from gold...
With that, the rainbow disapered.
Maybe one day I will chase it to the end to get the pot of gold,
Or the other thing I desire...

I LOVE racing to see which raindrop will slide down the window first! Nothing against doing that when you're bored, it's literally THE BEST THING EVER! sometimes I even give each drop names/characters and places they're trying to get to and what's stopping them and what other raindrop/characters they want to reach and it's a whooooooooole thing lmao. anyway LOVE THIS, LOVE RAINDROPS ON THE WINDOW, woo hoo!!!!!!!!!
