Lonely

Its been so long
The sun has risen
And fallen
Seasons have passed

People have gone
Some have arrived
Despair was a result at times

No surprise
But I have stayed Alone
It was one of my first poems,
After all

And yet
After all this time
I still feel the same way
To me 
There is no Black or White

Ive just always been
In the grey
Not quite alone
But not social either

Lonliness has started to creep in, though
And with it
Thoughts of the future do, too
Doing nothing won't change that

So I lay in my bed
Stare at the dark
And think

So what if i'm Lonely?
I always have been
I smile
And i'm perfectly okay with that.
