Thinking about the world

I've been thinking about the world
Everywhere its like cracked clay
Shards are cutting me
Yet they paint.
Struggle to survive but I have many luxuries I don't even use.
To keep my soul (self?) alive but I have the ingriedients.
I have what I need but

Too many things.
Are they right?

I thought I was so sure but
They took me words and actions
Like a spider spinning a web
I'm the fly? They say I'm the clumsy person
Ruining their hard work!

Ground me.

Cracks are deeping and I hope for the building to collapse
I would like,
to,
Start again with a kinder basis
They replace the top bricks but the ground is uneven and wet.

Carve out my stomach and I may feel my body happily!
Should I
Laugh at hate
Or shake my head
Because you want me to do both

I love you'
You don't listen
You make my world unsteady and put yourself in a position of a creator

I don't do this for attention but give me more

Ground me.
Don't chain me, use rope to Ground me. I need to feel soil
and I need to not feel like I'm
floating away again.

Ground me!

  • Succulent

There is a small plant that sits on the corner of my life.

    It is a tough little plant;
    I have not watered it.
I do not give it soil, but I do take it, and throw it to the wind.
  • List

    You succeeded but you failed
    You succeeded but you failed
    You succeeded
    You succeeded but you failed

You are above their bar and below yours
You survived but you do not celebrate

They say you reached for the stars.
  • Dying songbird

Please don't leave me, you dying songbird.

Your song is still beautiful, no matter the notes, no matter the order
Please don't leave your rusting cage via shoebox, friend.
