Only Time Will Tell

What am I?

Am I going to be famous?

Am I going to do something new?

I want to be seen through and through.
People wonder what they will do everyday, 

And for me, it’s the same.

Will I be seen or will I be plain?

What will people see me as; maybe a star?

Or will I be seen from afar?
I want to be known for being me,

Not just something I can do.

But maybe that’s my purpose to do my talent well,

If so, my life may finally be swell.
I don’t know what my purpose is here and what I will do.

But maybe when people start to see me for me,

And people start seeing you for you,

Our lives would be well.

Maybe then we’d find our purpose, only time will tell.
