First grade

Swinging on the swings

Tag in the woods.

In line I stood,

Holding my lunch bag.

Looking at the yellow school bus,

I know I’m ready.

This can’t be such a fuss

I’m going steady.

Sitting down the first day, 

I could already tell I was gonna be okay.
