to be happy

it's different for everyone.
the joy one gets out of things
out of others.

whether it be
seeing their friends, their pets, anything
it's valid.

if it's writing, getting that draft done
finishing that gift for a loved one
it's valid.

or a quiet happiness.
saging up your room and sleeping
it's valid.

the rain, the snow, the evening sun
wherever you get your happiness from
it's valid.

don't ever let anyone step on your happiness.
