Humor

Humor arrives with little hooks
fishing lines tightening
As they yank
on the corners of your lips
even when the mouth
forms an unamused stripe
two sad worms
slipping
towards your chin
humor arrives with a strong wind
bunching the skin under your eyes
(in the bags of course)
causing your eyes to
wrap lids over your pupils
a gust that coaxes
tears from smiling eyes
rolling down your face
to settle in newly made
dimples
With hooks
and lines
and winds
Humor lifts us up

    from cobweb corners where
