Overheating

Wearing
too many layers
with the heater running
and the sunshine sunning

Laying on my floor
with a beam of light
shining
directly on my back
warming me

I bask in the warmth
until it starts to be too much
I feel my cheeks begin
to turn pink

I could take off my sweater
to relieve myself 
from this uncomfortable heat 
but I'm much
too lazy
to try
