it invades
it peers around the corner
and darts off
the moment someone looks
it leaves us all
frightend
it uses
the fright it gives
to scare off
and moments
that could bring joy
it pushes away
music and 
happniess
and leaves behind
a trail of death
and panic-striken people
who are afraid
of what will come next
nothing is safe
forever
with this around
