Midnight Sun

Midnight sun

I dance under the stars 
under the light of the midnight sun
The light is guidance, freedom 
a battle I have won

I welcome the light into my soul
Of which the darkness has left a quiet empty hole 
Oh midnight sun, I pray to thee 
For now I dance, and darkness reprieves the punishment unto me

The sky is still dark
but the midnight sun still gleams
midnight sun 
I pray to thee
