Lab Rats

Wake up
stare at the wall
put on yesterday's clothes

Knock Knock
it's breakfast time
though you stomach will oppose

Where do you go
in a fifteen foot space
treading window to door
but still stuck in one place

What to do at 10am
in a decorated cage
Chase your tail around a of couple times
before you disengage

Wake up
grab your bags
impossible to believe

Knock Knock
open the door
it's finally time to leave
