My best advice for a performer is to accept that things will go wrong during the performance and that nerves never go away. Staying calm in moments that don’t go according to plan is key. Staying in character and improvising helps the play not be a total disaster. Out of all the plays I have been in, none of them were flawless. Part of being an actor/actress is learning how to embody your character well enough to act like them and create lines if the need arises.
