Secondary characters

Ava’s mom: an easygoing woman, she just wants what’s best for Ava. She worries about her daughter being so uptight, but she also knows Ava has to figure things out on her own. She loves to bake and garden.

Zelda: a neighbor and family friend, Zelda is two years younger than Ava. She often drops by Ava’s house to talk to Ava’s mom and eat fresh-baked cookies. Zelda loves adventures, and frequently tries to include Ava in her adventures.  She’s easygoing, like Ava’s mom, and has learned to deal with Ava’s rigid schedule.

My play really has one main character, Ava.  Ava is a high school sophomore, and she’s very disciplined and structured.
