Afraid to Fall

Lifes a journey, A winding road
Full of forks, twists, and turns.
When I get lost, You’re always here,
To point which way to go.

You’re my shoulder to cry on
The person I rely on
The one who can always make me smile.
You are my rock, That keeps me from floating into the deep abyss of my mind
Everything you do for me Ordinary, yet extraordinary,
You taught me life is like riding a bike,
You need to learn how to balance,
And when you fall, you have to get back up, And try again.

Without you, I’d be lost, On the road of life.
Unable to keep myself
From floating far away within my mind.
I’d be stuck with training wheels,
Afraid to fall, and not know how to get up

    A year older.

    A year wiser.

Time slips out from my grasp like the oceans tides,

Natural yet terrifying in the most nauseating way,

    I’m sick of growing up.
  • Love Lost

Love is felt most when its leaving

We cry for what once was

    What could’ve been

For the people We once were

    Watching as it leaves

    Weary eyes, and tired feet
  • Oh, Bird!

Oh, Bird, tell me how does it feel to float on wings of ivory and gold?
What is it like to have the world at your fingertips?
Tell me of the world beyond these acres,
Of the thrilling adventures in which you sing.
