Dearly Beloved

We're gather here today in sorrow
We come with heavy hearts,
It seems a loyal friend is gone
Now he's only in our thoughts.
The sudden unexpected way
In which he had to go,
Was really quite a tragedy
And fills us all with woe.
He helped us all to keep our cool.
He brightened up each day.
I'm sure we all have memories
That will not go away.
