Seasons

The lovely Lady of Summer is carefree and beautiful, she swims in lakes and dances with flowers as her long hair floats in the warm breeze

But soon, the lakes grow cold and the leaves turn from shades of emerald, jade, and mint to the palette of flames as the Lady of Fall appears

Those leaves don’t matter anymore

They fall to the ground as the Lady of Winter approaches, her icy breath frosting up the grass and bringing snow to the ground

The Lady of Spring melts that snow, brings real, flowing water back to the streams, and bursts flowers from the ground

The cycle continues over and over, endless as the seasons follow one another in a loop, never pausing, never stopping
