There to Discuss

Their Rights at Bay-

Gathered in a Room 

There, their word lay

She's Trapped-

She's Separate-

Sad and Mad the same-

Escape is a Mere Memory

The paper - there - does say

They talk of her - freely - 

Her Voice - Not there at all - 

People - Are they Not?

The Son - to Father - does say

Sitting in a Room 

She writes there - just the same

The War goes on - so does she

Her corpus - long and dense - 

Though gone now - She is not - 

Her legacy lives on

All fighting - 

Just as well - 

For Rights - They do deserve - 

In different ways - they fight 

And now their work

Lay in the Stars - 

And Dream their Dream - Tonight!
