There’s this new feeling

It’s a very different feeling

But it’s a good feeling

I thought I had this figured out

But like Icarus with the sun

I still had no idea what would be done

And this new feeling pushes me to a sun

But my sun is beautiful, sweet, lovely

This sun won’t burn the feathers out

This new feeling

That brings such delight

Started all in one night

Look in her eyes

That funny feeling

Yet welcome

Maybe it’s not love quite yet

But it’s new

And it feels good

for once.
