The Thing Itself, part 2, Lexi

The Thing Itself, part 2, Anna

I run, sobbing, to my room, thinking only of the injustice that my evil uncle grips in his overly fat fist. I burst into my room, fling myself onto the freshly made bed, then I jump back up, remembering my plans. I take out of my drawers the pillowcase full of stuff that I had packed a few weeks ago, when Uncle Thornheart first discover the closet, before he left for Malibu. I step into my closet, close the door, and pull out the singular jewelry drawer. The closet closes around me, I close my eyes, and open them to find the now familiar meadow, with the hobbit door facing me.
