Best Place on Earth

fields upon fields

on which the sun shines

trees upon trees,

forming a city

a city of squirrels,

bears,

and more,

the most diverse place on earth,

you look around,

wind is blowing,

and it doesn’t matter

that you don’t know where you’re going,

cause this is the best place on earth

far from the claws,

of bitter pollution,

far from the trash

that’s destroying the ocean,

far from the sidewalks,

where critters walk in vain,

instead the air is fresh,

the grass is clean,

squirrels run on the fields,

as cars do on roads,

the flowers are blossoming,

free and untamed,

unlike the world outside which is maimed

eyes closed,

hair blowing,

trusting the lands,

without a doubt,

branches swaying in the wind,

this is the best place on earth,

this is the best place on earth

  • Willow's Well

Willow's Well is a well that is said to grant wishes-at least, that's what the locals say. You can only make one wish though, and it's likely it'll never come true, for the Well is said to only ever grant a worthy wish.

  • Words

Words drift by me, leading up to the great night sky. I watch them, all spiraling from an open book. The book has a sort of magic coming from it, an essence. I walk toward the book and hold out my hand above it. In my palm appears a word.
