waterfall

I am a waterfall without water

which is to say 

Ideas used to flow 

Now they just disappeared

like water after a drought

I'm drying out 

my blood is stuck

which is to say

I can't feel my heart no longer

feelings damaged in the aftermath

of a love so new and strong

the shock waves will last a lifetime

which is to say

I'm still healing

and yet the healing is slow to start

just like a storm on the horizon

before bringing life to a dessert.
