poem 1 comment challenge: Love
Graceful

So many things that will never be more than you

Ten fires lighting up the dark sky
Salty shells from fifty waves
One hundred spotlights shining on dirty stages.
Sparkling gold from a thousand cities
One million flowers in a cool wind
A billion night stars shining like diamonds
Yet there will always be just one you.

It's so strange to think that with all the millions of things on the planet, there are hardly any replicates.
