Sweat dripping, heart pounding, fast breathing, feet aching, but I had to keep running. It was coming. I pause for a second to catch my breath, and look around there was a good view, pretty flowers, long grasses, blue sky. I could stay there forever, but then I heard it. I could hear it’s screams. I could hear it’s feet pounding against the gravel road. Despite the pain, I kept going. There was a forest at the other side, a nice, big, dark forest. One that is perfect to hide in. I speed up, my feet are aching, and the ground is bumpy. I had to slow down, my feet hurt too bad. I feel my ankle roll, and in no time I was on the ground. I struggled to get up, but I couldn’t. I could hear it getting closer, I felt my heartbeat speed up. I looked around and realized I was on a hill. I rolled down to the bottom and pulled myself to the side, I covered my face with the long grass. I held my breath as it passed me, a big body made of rocks, gray and dusty.
