Bullets sprayed down on the American soldiers that were raiding the beach. The water rushed up and down on the shore violently, knocking some Americans over as it moved. Bullet after bullet, the men slowly lost their brothers. The battalion that made up 400 soldiers was now a battalion of 200 soldiers. They had lost half of their unit and hadn't even made it to the actual beach.
