The first time I drove a tractor, I was 9 years old. The day started like any other day. We lived in Middletown Springs at the time. Learning to drive a tractor was fun and not that difficult. We were going to pick the rocks in one of our fields so there was not any rocks in the field any more. The field was a pretty big field. The tractor was a Ford 1920. It smelled like exhaust from the tractor. I was not too excited because that is not my favorite thing in the whole world.. At first, I was expecting to be walking around picking up the rocks but dad had other plans. He had me show him the brake and the clutch before he let me on to drive. I had the time of my life! In the end, I had 4 sunburns and a fun time!
